Located in McCordsville, Indiana, on the southeast corner of Broadway Avenue (S.R. 67) and Mt. Comfort Road, McCord Square is a partnership between the Town of McCordsville, Rebar Development, and Pride Investment Partners.
McCord Square is a 48-acre planned mixed-use development that accomplishes many goals set forth in the Town Center Development plan, including the creation of a defined, vibrant downtown district with a unique identity that will attract people and additional business to the area. McCord Square will also diversify the tax base and is expected to add $50 million in assessed value by 2025.
Announced in August 2021, McCord Square Apartments is under construction and consists of two multi-use buildings.
Plans for future development in the new downtown district include the creation of a new McCordsville Town Hall, as well as the Civic Commons outdoor amphitheater with connectivity throughout downtown and to existing neighborhoods. Further investment is expected in the coming months for the available parcels. Possible uses for development include additional housing, office, retail, restaurant space, and a daycare.
