MIXED-USE DEVELOPMENT TO SET TONE FOR HOFFER CORRIDOR
A new mixed-use development planned for the northeast corner of Hoffer and Elizabeth streets was approved by the City of Kokomo’s Redevelopment Commission, paving the way for the City Council’s consideration. The Elwood is planned to bring 114 modern apartment homes, 3,000 square feet of commercial space, and $26 million in investment to the Hoffer Street corridor.
McCORD SQUARE CELEBRATES GRAND OPENING
The Town of McCordsville, along with Rebar Development and Pride Investment Partners, celebrated the grand opening of the new downtown district, McCord Square, and the anchor development, McCord Square Apartments with a ribbon cutting ceremony held on October 3, 2024. DISTRICT SOUTH BREAKS GROUND IN DOWNTOWN FISHERS
The City of Fishers, Rebar Development, and project partners broke ground on District South in downtown Fishers. The $33 million investment brings an urban village concept to the Nickel Plate District that includes a new headquarters for The Annex Group, as well as four additional buildings with office space, commercial suites, and apartment homes.

The City of Fishers’ City Council approved an agreement with Rebar Development, paving the way for the new District South development on the south side of South Street. The $32.5 million investment redevelops several under-utilized parcels and introduces an urban village concept that includes residences, the Annex headquarters building, micro-commercial suites, and connectivity to area business districts.
$18.3 MILLION INVESTMENT TO TRANSFORM FORMER GATKE SITE IN WARSAW
Rebar Development announced a new $18.3 million project at the former Gatke site in Warsaw, Indiana. The project includes the rehabilitation of the existing Gatke Warehouse and the development of a new market-rate apartment building on the former Gatke factory site.
